Abstract
An enzyme-inspired Fe–porphyrin MOF catalyst with secondary-sphere functionalities enables efficient and selective CO 2 electroreduction to ethanol via tilted *CO adsorption and proton-shuttled hydrogenation through hydrogen-bonding networks.
