Abstract

Ag 3 PO 4 –PCN nanocomposite effectively cleaves C–C bonds of β-1 lignin models under simulated solar light mainly through an electron–hole coupled mechanism. The strong redox capability of the Z-scheme photocatalyst is the key to high efficiency.
