Abstract

A quinazolin based novel Schiff base chemosensor (L) has been reported for colorimetric detection of Ni 2+ ion and fluorescent-colorimetric detection of Ni 2+ and Zn 2+ ions with minimum detection limits of 7.9 nM and 1.7 nM respectively.
