Abstract
This article is presented as a reflection, in which the main events that gave rise to the Information Society (IS) and Knowledge (CS) and how these have transformed different social, economic and productive aspects are exposed, mainly for This writing highlights the influence of technology on teaching and learning processes in educational contexts. In the first part, a tour is made through the evolution of the industry, starting with agrarian society up to Industry 4.0 and digital transformation. In the second part, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are presented, in their role as new scenarios for learning and training, carrying out an analysis of the technologies that have been used, located in the Horizon reports, and Finally, it is concluded by reiterating the benefits of the implementation of technologies, in their function of mediation in didactic and pedagogical environments.
