Kinetic modulation enabling densely oriented electrodeposition of Zn anodes in aqueous batteries

Abstract
The unique charge distribution on the 2-methoxyethyl acetate additive enables the thermodynamic governed Zn deposition behavior in aqueous electrolytes, thereby extending the lifespan of Zn electrodes from 79 hours to around 8 months.
