Abstract

Four salicylidene-based ‘turn on’ fluorometric sensors for the detection of Zn 2+ , Al 3+ and F − ions are reported. The bioimaging of chemosensors with the Zn 2+ exhibited blue and green fluorescence from the anterior region of zebrafish larvae.
