Abstract
This paper is devoted to obtaining the explicit analytical relationship for defining the deep of welding seam penetration in the electron beam technologies with applying the high voltage glow discharge electron guns. The basic set of analytical relationships include dependence of welding seam geometry parameters on the acceleration voltage, current of electron beam and its focal radius, as well as dependence of focal radius of electron beam, formed by the high voltage glow discharge electron guns, on acceleration voltage and on the convergence angle. Corresponded graphic dependences of deep of welding seam penetration on the acceleration voltage and operation pressure of high voltage glow discharge are presented and analyzed. The obtained analytical dependences of welding seam geometry on energetic parameters of electron beam are important significantly in practice, especially for the experts on elaboration of novel advanced electron-beam welding equipment and corresponded technologies.
