Boundary conditions at a gel-fluid interface

Abstract
The maximum dissipation principle is used to derive the boundary conditions at the fluid-gel interface $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Gamma}}$, finding that a shear flow in pure fluid can entrain fluid in the gel.
