Abstract
The authors measure the hyperfine coupling constant, the molecular frame electric dipole moment, and the magnetic $g$-factor of ThF${}^{+}$ and compare them with theoretical calculations. The results imply that ThF${}^{+}$ could potentially be an excellent candidate for electron-electric-dipole-moment experiments due to its longer coherence time than HfF${}^{+}$, which results in a higher sensitivity.
