A Non-Invasive Context-Aware Dehydration Alert System

Abstract
We propose Monitoring My Dehydration (MMD), a novel context-aware real-time Android-based tool that can instantly detect human dehydration level by utilizing wearable Electrodermal Activity (EDA) sensors in conjunction with signal processing and machine learning. Experimental evaluation on real-world collected data over 5 users provide improved dehydration estimation performance (84.5%) with satisfactory feasibility study and trustworthy explanation.
