Application of Lightweight Digital Twin System in Intelligent Transportation

Abstract
This paper discusses the latest trends in the development of intelligent transportation systems, and the importance of digital twin technology in solving transportation problems. A lightweight digital twin system based on roadside sensing device, C-V2X network, multi-sensor fusion and global cooperative algorithm is proposed. Its software cost is low, but it can accurately reproduce, predict and control the microscopic operation process of traffic participants. Finally, the typical applications of the system are given for reference, hope to provide a path to improve the popularity of digital twin technology, and effectively improve the traffic environment.
