Abstract

-benzyl dithiocarbamates from diazo compounds, carbon disulfide and secondary amines is reported. The reactions proceeded at room temperature and gave the desired dithiocarbamates in good yields. Wide-substrate scope and easy operation are the important features of this methodology.
