Abstract

Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) help to improve transportation infrastructure and citizens' quality of life by increasing safety, reducing traffic, improving efficiency, improving resource management, reducing pollution, improving passenger experience, supporting sustainable transportation, and integrating systems. Considering that the vehicles in these systems have limited processing power and need offloading for heavy processing, it is possible that when sending data for offloading, the information is manipulated, and the sender's identity is forged. In this paper, we present an SOBT-UF scheme for secure offloading and then analyze it for security using AVISPA tools. Also, it is examined in terms of computational cost and security requirements. This analysis shows that the SOBT-UF scheme is safe against known attacks.
