Abstract

This letter investigates the disturbance decoupling problem (DDP) for Boolean control networks (BCNs), and proposes some new perspectives on the solvability of DDP. The DDP of BCNs is generalized in the sense that the output-friendly subspace is a subset of the invariant subspace, based on which, a new criterion is presented to design state feedback DDP controllers for a given output-friendly coordinate frame. The study of an illustrative example shows that additional state feedback DDP controllers can be obtained with respect to those that can be obtained with the method proposed in the existing literature.
