Abstract

A novel strategy for combating bacteria is proposed based on MnO<sub>2</sub>@Ag micromotors. Due to synergistic reaction of MnO<sub>2</sub> and Ag, rapid movement was realized and an enhanced <italic>E. coli</italic> death was achieved by coupling intense motion with Ag<sup>+</sup> sterilization.
