Abstract
, so they have inherent advantages for OP, which is a disease that requires long-term treatment. Therefore, this paper reviews the research progress of MOFs and their biomacromolecular composites in therapeutic applications for osteoporosis, categorized by MOF type, and briefly describes the mechanism of osteoporosis, and different synthesis methods of MOFs and MOF-based composites, and finally presents the main existing problems and future perspectives, aiming to make MOFs more helpful for OP treatment.
