Abstract
In our study, cannabis cessation raises inflammatory markers though improving clinical symptoms. The investigation and the understanding of interactions between cannabis use and inflammatory markers in patients with schizophrenia is of importance and could in the future be a new target for treatment of psychiatric symptoms linked to inflammation.
