Abstract
CuO/SiO 2 catalysts with copper-phyllosilicate structures contribute to the formation of active and stable Cu 2 C 2 complexes due to the strong interaction between CuO and SiO 2 and thus exhibit high ethynylation activity and stability for 1,4-butynediol.
