Abstract

The use of fiber optics is increasing day by day due to their low transmission losses. Nowadays, researchers are working hard to make the transmission more efficient with extremely low-loss fibers. Based on a porous-core topaz suspended in suspension, this design incorporates a square lattice-shaped core fiber. Since most of the components are exceptionally as an absorber of THz waves, it presents a major obstacle to achieving low dissipation waveguides for effective THz propagation. We propose a design that exhibits a highly low effective material loss (EML) of 0.03 cm-1 at a 1.0 THz operating frequency for a 330 µm core length. Furthermore, for the ideal design parameters, the fiber has a confinement loss of 0.05 dB/cm and a dispersion of 0.48 ± 0.04 ps/THz/cm. Other important expansion characteristics, such as the power fragment and single-moodiness, may also be fully researched.
