Abstract

A novel bright cyan-emitting phosphor of Eu 2+ -activated Ba 6 BO 3 Cl 9 with robust thermal stability has been reported. It can efficiently compensate for the lack of cyan emission and also contribute to the improvement in R a of white LED devices.
