Abstract

Mesoporous (001)-TiO 2 nanocrystals with tailored Ti 3+ and surface oxygen vacancies exhibited remarkably boosted photoactivity for selective conversion of aromatic alcohols to carbonyl compounds in water medium under visible-light irradiation.
