Abstract

Solid Electrolytes To develop electrolytes for high energy density solid-state batteries, in article number 2103049, Fang Lian and co-workers propose a novel “polymer-in-salt” solid electrolyte (PISE) via supramolecular interaction and coordination between PME polymers and LiPVFM/LiTFSI composite Li salts. The PISE possesses superior lithium ion transference number, high ionic conductivity, excellent electrochemical stability as well as improved interfacial compatibility with electrodes, thus enabling excellent cycle performance of high voltage cathodes in solid-state batteries.
