The chapter covers the effects of FASDs on a child's overall physical, medical, neurocognitive, and behavioral development, as well as the social implications of FASDs . The focus is on diagnostic criteria, characteristic symptoms, potential legal and educational accommodations and/or modifications, family support, and evidence-based interventions.
