Abstract
In this work, the analysis of the formation processes of fiber composites with an epoxy matrix is carried out. Methods of their formation and arrangement of fibers are considered. The kinetics of curing of an epoxy binder is discussed in terms of the effect of the filler on it leading to the development of internal stresses in the composite. The mechanisms of volume relaxation and pore formation are outlined. Particular attention is paid to the impact of processing on the properties of fiber composites with an epoxy matrix. Problems and directions for further research of fiber composites with an epoxy matrix are outlined.
