Abstract
Industrial control systems (ICS) are essential for interconnecting equipment and tracking its properties in Food and Beverage industry. The use of ICS is crucial for the operation of any Industrial IoT equipment, and this has delighted industries. Use of these ICS introduces industrial system to cyber threats when associated with technology. In this system, all the possible cyber-attack challenges on food industry that could bypass the firewall and disrupt the normal flow of operation have been identified along with the possible vulnerabilities. The proposed system identifies the significance of detection system, as manually inspecting the control systems and relying on people to detect cyber-attacks is not scalable. This study also provides an overall scenario for the implementation of IDS to detect cyber-attacks.
