Abstract
NaCl and (NH<sub>4</sub>)<sub>2</sub>SO<sub>4</sub> were selected as typical inorganic salts (10 wt% addition) in order to analyze their effects on the hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) of sewage sludge (SS).
