Abstract
-carboxymethyl-L-phenylalanine (CMF), into proteins in mammalian cells. This nonhydrolyzable pTyr analog can facilitate biological studies by removing complications caused by the dynamic interconversion between the phosphorylated and non-phosphorylated isoforms of a protein.
