Derivation of The Flyback Converter From Buck-Boost Converter For Modelling

Abstract
The paper discusses the equivalent nature of these two converter topologies (Buck-boost and Flyback) and their ability to step up or down DC voltages. It emphasizes the importance of galvanic isolation for the safety and transformer less operation of the Flyback converter. The paper also touches on the modeling of the magnetic core materials and the reset mechanism of the Flyback transformer. Finally, it conducts transient analysis to determine various waveforms and performance parameters of the Flyback converter
