• A multicomponent dried blood spot method was clinically validated in transplant recipients. • A dried blood spot method was validated for cyclosporine A, tacrolimus, creatinine and hematocrit. • A correction for hematocrit is needed for clinical use of dried blood spot for cyclosporine A and tacrolimus.
