Co-electrolysis SOEC and internal reforming SOFC for achieving a carbon-neutral society
Hirofumi Sumi
Abstract
Co-electrolysis SOECs can convert steam + CO 2 to fuels and raw materials via syngas (H 2 + CO) using renewable energy. Internal reforming SOFCs can generate power using carbon-neutral methanol and dimethyl ether, which are synthesized from the syngas.
