Abstract

This study elucidates the progression of the photoluminescence in LaMgAl 11 O 19 : x Mn 2+ phosphors, transitioning from isolated Mn 2+ to multisite-occupied Mn 2+ , and ultimately to Mn 2+ –Mn 2+ dimers through modulation of Mn 2+ doping concentration.
