Abstract
A molecular level engineering method is proposed to fabricate ultrafine α-MoC<sub>1−x</sub>nanoparticles<italic>in situ</italic>formed on carbon nanofibers with atomic Pt doping. The hybrid catalyst exhibits superior HER electrocatalytic performance in acidic medium.
