Abstract

A novel colorimetric, NIR fluorescent probe for ultrafast detection of Fe 3+ based on the PET mechanism has been developed. This probe can detect Fe 3+ in actual water samples and image Fe 3+ in living cells as well as be used for anti-counterfeiting ink.
