Abstract
A 94.15% ethanol selectivity is achieved via a nanoconfined tandem three-phase CO 2 photoreduction system, which integrates hydrophobicity and the nanoconfinement effect with tandem reactions, reducing the energy barrier for *CO–*CO coupling.
