Abstract

TiO 2 -coupled metal (Au) or semiconductor (CeO 2 ) nanohybrids with comparable physicochemical features are synthesized and the effectiveness in degrading ciprofloxacin and sulfamethoxazole is compared, revealing the importance of CeO 2 as co-catalyst.
