Abstract
A series of LaMg<sub>x</sub>Nb<sub>1−x</sub>O<sub>1+3x</sub>N<sub>2−3x</sub> solid solutions (0.0 ≤ <italic>x</italic> ≤ 0.5) was synthesized in an attempt to modify the band structures and improve the overall water splitting activity of these compounds.
