Abstract

Almost five billion people now use the internet for Various purposes like education, research, banking, and health. It became a vital part of our day-to-day life but it also increases the security threat to multiple folds. In 2022 Q2 particularly in DDoS application-layer attacks increased by 72% and network-layer attacks increased by 109%. In this paper, we identify the role of reverse engineering in attacks against the android-based banking application, IoT, wireless sensors systems, and Controllers area networks. We also study the techniques and tools of reverse engineering they use to lunch the attack. We also explain how DDoS Attacks launch on any android-based application using dynamic reverse engineering.
