Abstract
To address the requirements of undergraduates studying medicine, this book was designed just for them. Both theoretical and practical aspects of microbiology are covered in the Manual. These tiny, mostly unicellular creatures are studied and worked with in ways that are different from the bulk of other biological investigations. Microorganisms and their actions in different habitats may be studied using microbiological methods.
