Smart city systems that encourage sustainable living, better comfort, and increased productivity for people have been made possible thanks to the IoT. This article’s goal is to give a thorough overview of the ideas behind smart cities, as well as their purposes and uses. Additionally, this survey discusses the key elements and characteristics of a smart city as well as IoT technologies for smart cities.
