Abstract
Abstract Based on a previously developed numerical technique and computational code, a computational-theoretical study of the processes of compression and energy release in a cylindrical target of the magneto-inertial method of plasma confinement under the action of intense energy flows is carried out. The plasma evolutions of a dense magnetized single-layer cylindrical target in external magnetic field and when it is exposed to pulsed plasma jets and laser beams are calculated.
