Abstract

Size-dependent vibration of thermo-magneto-electro-elastic (TMEE) nanobeams accounting for the thermal entropy is implemented. Modified couple stress theory is adopted, Euler-Bernoulli beam model and strain gradient theory are adopted. Free vibration of TMEE nanobeams is demonstrated, dispersion equation is depicted, and natural frequencies are evaluated. Effects of various parameters such as volume fraction, size-dependent parameter, thickness and length of the nanobeam are investigated. The conducted results perfectly match with the ones in existing literature, and the newly invented governing equation is rather compact, which can be easily used to efficiently estimate the natural frequencies of the TMEE nanobeams.
