Fluid-phase topology of complex displacements in porous media
Holger Ott, Ahmad Kharrat, Mostafa Borji, Pit Arnold
Abstract
This article uses a statistical interpretation of the topology of liquid phases in porous media to analyze immiscible displacements in oil-water systems. The authors show how the information can be used for screening and optimizing the injection-water chemistry for oil displacement.
