Abstract
Single-atom nickel catalysts anchored on heteroatom (X = B, N, P, and S)-doped graphdiyne were rationally designed for a highly efficient hydrogen evolution reaction, of which Ni/1N3-GDY is considered as the most efficient HER catalyst.
