Abstract
In recent years, we have seen groundbreaking progress in the treatment of early-stage nonsmall-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). 1 Neoadjuvant administration of the PD-1 inhibitor nivolumab with chemotherapy has been approved in patients with stage IB-IIIA disease, regardless of PD-L1 status. 2 Patients with stage II and III disease with a PD-L1 expression of ≥1% without driver mutations are eligible for the PD-L1 inhibitor atezolizumab after surgery and chemotherapy. 3atients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations are now eligible for adjuvant therapy with osimertinib. 3
