Ion Chromatography In Elemental Analysis Of Airborne Particles
Judith C. Chow, John G. Watson
Abstract
Ion chromatography (IC), first developed in the mid-1970s by Small et al. (1975), is a physio-chemical separation technique that provides quantitative analysis of inorganic and organic ions from a complex mixture. IC combines features of ion exchange, liquid chromatography, eluent suppression, and quantitative detection.
