Abstract

Growing global food consumption and reducing environmental effect are two problems modern agriculture must overcome. The fusion of Internet of Things (IoT) technology with multi-rotor drones offers a ground-breaking method to improve the application of pesticides in agricultural practices. This study examines the relationship between IoT and multirotor drones in the context of precise pesticide application and describes how they have the potential to revolutionize sustainable farming. Multi-rotor drones are enhanced by the integration of IoT sensors and the Pixhawk controller. This allows for real time data collecting, monitoring, and adaptive decision-making during the delivery of pesticides across vast agricultural fields. Drones with IoT capabilities can record crucial information about crop health indicators, weather, and pest infestation levels, while the Pixhawk controller ensures accurate drone navigation. This article explores the process of integrating IoT and the Pixhawk controller into agricultural drones. This strategy aligns agriculture with sustainability objectives by minimizing environmental impact while also improving pest control effectiveness. A new era in precision agriculture has begun with the blending of cutting-edge technology and methods for spraying pesticides, promising to supply the world’s food needs while protecting its resources. The growing pressures on agricultural production from the environment, the economy, the market, and the general public can be addressed in part by precision agriculture as a crop management approach.
