Abstract
The starting reactants are not important for the characteristics and properties of the Fe 3 O 4 NPs without BC. When NPs are formed inside BC networks, the starting materials influence the nanocomposites characteristics and properties. Morphology, size, crystal structure, loading amount, and magnetic phase of Fe 3 O 4 NPs are affected by the BC networks. The ability to alter and control the properties of the NPs enables one to direct towards specific target applications.
