Abstract

Abstract: the article considers the problem of assessing the quality of software. Software products are a complex object, the expected properties and potential defects of which cannot be accurately characterized. The risks of manifestation of software errors are difficult to predict. The complex nature of the work on creating on the complexity is determined, and often the inability to determine in the contract its clear qualitative characteristics. The author explores software elements, their functional characteristics; determines the causes of errors in the program, possible ways to identify and fix them. Separate attention in the article is paid to issues about the content and structure of the technical specifications for the development of software, as well as the procedure for conducting its testing and acceptance.
