Abstract
The present paper proposes a new non coherent modulation scheme, called GoF based Chaotic On-off Keying (GoF-COOK). The proposed method deals with the “Nonzero threshold problem” caused by the bit energy variation of the chaotic signals. The main originality of the proposed method, consists of transforming the non-coherent demodulation problem to a classical binary hypothesis test, then applying the Goodness of Fit algorithms to solve the binary detection problem. Analytical expression for the theoretical error probability is derived and simulation results highlights the effectiveness of the proposed GoF-COOK.
