Abstract

Abstract 1,2,4-Triazines with an unsubstituted (1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)amine residue in the C5 position were synthesized by the solvent-free ipso-amination reaction between 1,2,4-triazine-5-carbonitriles and 3-amino-5H- or 3-amino-5-sulfanyl-1,2,4-triazoles. In the latter case, the reaction is accompanied by desulfurization of the 1,2,4-triazole fragment.
